Nursing Services
Riverland Medical Center's nursing services consists of RNs, LPNs, CNAs, Unit Secretaries, and Telemetry Monitor Technicians.  These employees staff the 24-hour emergency department, a five (5) bed Intensive Care Unit, a twenty (20) bed medical/surgical unit, an outpatient and inpatient surgery department, employee health and infection control, employee education and case management, as well as, two (2) hospital owned medical clinics.  Not only does the nursing services serve the hospital, but also the community by providing CPR classes to the public, as well as working with local businesses co-sponsoring health fairs in the surrounding areas.  Nursing Services works in conjunction with the local technical college in providing clinical training to the LPN nursing students, CNA students, and patient care technician students.  Our nursing staff has also worked with high school students participating in the summer AHEC program and the high school dual enrollment (Early Start Program).  Nursing Services' philosophy is teamwork while continually striving to provide the best patient care possible and meeting the needs of our patients and community.
